Shipping and Return Policy
SHIPPING TIMELINES
Please note that your clothes are processed and shipped from India, so it does take some time. We want to get you your clothes as fast as possible, but without any compromise to quality. We want to be fully transparent about how this works, so there are no surprises.
Total shipping time = Processing time + Transit time
- Processing time
- 3-5 days for unstitched orders
- 5-10 days for stitching orders. Note that this time is counted from the date we receive your measurements.
- Transit time
- 8-10 days for standard shipping
- 4-5 days for express shipping
We track our shipping times closely. Most orders (>95%) are received by customers well under these timelines. But, please note that occasionally (<5%) orders can get delayed beyond these timelines due to gaps in product availability, enhanced import / export customs checks, unfavorable weather conditions, etc
Orders are shipped using high quality couriers such as DHL / UPS / FedEx/ Aramex.
SHIPPING COST
Standard shipping is free for all countries (US, UK, Canada, UAE, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, etc) on orders over USD $200 | GBP £150 | INR ₹18,000 or equivalent. We charge a flat shipping fee of USD $9.99 for orders under that threshold.
Express Shipping is also available at an additional charge. The cost of express shipping varies by country and and will be shown at checkout.
In rare circumstances (<2% of orders, yes we track this as well!), customers are asked to pay import duties. If this happens, the additional taxes will be the responsibility of the customer.
And lastly, we are really sorry, but our legal team really wanted us to add this statement: ETHNOS is not responsible and will not be held liable, if the package is not delivered or destroyed due to non-payment of Custom or Import duty, Tariffs, VAT or other similar taxes.
RETURNS
- We have a generous 7 day no-questions-asked return policy. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can get it exchanged.
- Please initiate returns by emailing us at help@shopethnos.com
- For International returns, the customer is responsible for sending the product back to our store in India.
- We will issue a refund back in the form of store credit that can be used for future purchases on our website (after deducting shipping and payment processing charges).
- Payment processing fee are 5% of the order value (with a minimum fee of $5 USD). These are deducted from the refund as payment processing fee.
- For returns within India, the customer will be responsible for shipping the product to our warehouse.
- The store credit will have validity of 1 year. Incase the store credit is not used in 1 year, it will be expired and can not be renewed.
- Store credit will be issued for the full product price paid by the customer.
- Any product that exhibits physical damage to the product or is not in the original condition
- If the product is customized for you (e.g - lehenga with custom stitching or sarees with fall & edging, stitched blouses, etc)
- 100% Pure Silk Saree and Jewelry pieces are not eligible for return.
- Orders placed using store credit (either part or in full) are not eligible for return or exchange. Orders placed using store credit (either part of in full) are not eligible for any discounts.
