Shipping and Return Policy

SHIPPING TIMELINES 

Please note that your clothes are processed and shipped from India, so it does take some time. We want to get you your clothes as fast as possible, but without any compromise to quality. We want to be fully transparent about how this works, so there are no surprises. 

Total shipping time = Processing time + Transit time

  • Processing time
    • 5-7 business days for unstitched orders
    • 7-12 business days for stitching orders. Note that this time is counted from the date we receive your measurements. 
  • Transit time
    • 5-7 business days for express shipping 
    • 8-12 business days for standard shipping

We track our shipping times closely. Most orders (>95%) are received by customers well under these timelines. But, please note that occasionally (<5%) orders can get delayed beyond these timelines due to gaps in product availability, enhanced import / export customs checks, unfavorable weather conditions, etc 

Orders are shipped using high quality couriers such as DHL / UPS / FedEx/ Aramex.

SHIPPING COST

Shipping costs vary by country. Please go to the checkout page to view the shipping costs for your country. 

Standard shipping is free for US, UK, Canada, UAE, Singapore and Australia over USD $250 or equivalent local currency. For other countries standard shipping costs $15 to $25 per order. 

Express Shipping is also available at an additional charge. The cost of express shipping varies by country and and will be shown at checkout. 

CUSTOM DUTY | TARIFFS | VAT | IMPORT DUTY 

All USA orders are shipped on a DDP (duty delivery paid) basis which means that the customer is not responsible for any duties. In the rare event you are charged any customs duty, please contact our support team and we will pay it on your behalf. 

Orders to all other countries may be subject to import duties / VAT. The customer is responsible for paying these duties. 

RETURNS 

  1. We have a generous 7 day no-questions-asked return policy. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can get it exchanged.
  2. Please initiate returns by emailing us at help@shopethnos.com
  3. For International returns, the customer is responsible for sending the product back to our store in India. 
  4. We will issue a refund back in the form of store credit that can be used for future purchases on our website (after deducting shipping and payment processing charges). 
  5. Payment processing fee are 15% of the order value (with a minimum fee of $20 USD). These are deducted from the refund as payment processing fee. 
  6. For returns within India, the customer will be responsible for shipping the product to our warehouse. 
  7. The store credit will have validity of 1 year. Incase the store credit is not used in 1 year, it will be expired and can not be renewed.
  8. Store credit will be issued for the full product price paid by the customer.
Please note that the following products shall not be eligible for return or exchange:
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage to the product or is not in the original condition
  • If the product is customized for you (e.g - lehenga with custom/standard size stitching or sarees with fall & edging, stitched blouses, Suits with length customisations, etc)
  • 100% Pure Silk Saree and Jewellery pieces are not eligible for return. 
  • Orders placed using store credit (either part or in full) are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Orders placed using store credit (either part of in full) are not eligible for any discounts. 
CANCELLATIONS

Orders once placed cannot be cancelled and modified for any reason. If you need help after you have placed the order, please contact us at help@shopethnos.com and we will do our best to help you out.

In the event of product unavailability due to quality or stock issues, we will promptly communicate with you via Email/Whatsapp to provide suitable alternatives or refund options.

FAQ's

How soon will I get my Store Credit?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once your item is inspected and approved, we will send your credit note (credit notes are issued on your registered email address). Please note, Ethnos reserves the final right to refuse or accept a return or exchange. All disputes are subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only.

How to use the Store Credit?
Once you receive the credit note code from us, you can apply it on our website at the checkout page, after the checkout page, you have to apply the credit note code in the ‘COUPON CODE’ section and click on ‘APPLY’. You will see the discount code will immediately be reflected and the amount will be deducted in the total as per your given discount amount. Please note that the full amount of store credit is to be used at once. If there are any issues in using the credit note code, please contact our customer care team and they will be of assistance. Store credit once expired, can not be renewed. Please use it within the time frame.

What about lost shipments?
Please note that Ethnos is not responsible for shipments lost on transit. We use top tier shipping companies including FedEx, UPS, Aramex, Delhivery and BlueDart to ensure reliable and fast deliveries worldwide.
